Consistency is being in Biz

Creating a biz is more than waking up one day wanting to own a Biz; it is being consistent. I am sure that if you speak to successful Biz women, you will find that it is not for the faint of heart. Business comes with its ups and downs, and you need to be more than just a biz owner.

How consistent is your spending?

There is much advice out there for the wanted Biz owner. The do’s and don’ts there are many. There are many free courses, some with low monthly payments (like Biz Buddies™) or ones that you can have a once off payment. Others that promise you to make a five figure income this month. Do not be fooled; the investment includes your time you are not receiving a salary.

There are also many free biz tools that help you in your biz, so you don’t rack up debts that your cash flow cannot cover yet! ( I have included many of these at the bottom of this article). Most importantly, after you are sure that you want to create you Biz, please have money put aside for you Term’s and Conditions, a Privacy policy (You must have one of these if you are collecting information about your clients including an email for a “sales funnel”.) These are your legal boundaries and a safety net for you and your clients.

Develop Mindset Consistency.

The next hurdle can be Mindset and the majority of the time you need to believe in your purpose and have the strength to believe in yourself and your ability to succeed. It also means we have the ability not to listen as we protect ourselves so we cannot fail at what we do.

Remember like all life cycles that Business has Yin and Yang. We also can believe in others that they can make us successful and put too much faith in systems and people and not enough in ourselves.

The mindset in Biz is a puzzle:

  • you must always have thoughts of growth, and success without your options to only being open to learn from others and to remember to be in charge of your destiny. 

The next tip is consistency, as your business will not operate by hope alone.

Your Business needs consistency one step at a time. In this article, I am concentrating on the foundations of your Biz. Consistency means showing up in your Biz every day, even when you do not have the time, money, energy, content and the excellent sparkly tools everyone else seems to have.

Yes, also when you see a competitors post or recommendation that makes you question why you are doing and what you are doing. It would be best if you showed up. Consistency in being visible means having social media accounts and making them your shop front so everyone can see who you are and decide if they want to build a relationship with you.

Your website will come as your cash flow allows it. While you are making your foundations, you will learn what copy you can use in your site, so use google sheets or ASANA to record your content, so it is used at a later time. (This is a skill I teach in Biz Buddies™).

Consistency is also messaging the same information to your client. It is a must to know your audience. Having Target Market Intelligence™ is an important skill to find your paying client. TMI teaches you that your Biz ego needs to be open to learning your client isn’t paying for all of your education around your modality. Your client wants you to know what they want, and they take for granted that you can give them what they want.

Furthermore, you will also help them with what they need as they do not know what they do not know. Confusing I know. Likes, followers and growing lists are only useful if they are engaged and are becoming a warm audience.

Relationships come from you being consistent with your target audience.

A warm audience is a person who is creating a relationship with your business and has seen your business message (yes the same one) 18 to 23 times. They are either going to pay for your services or consider you an expert and will refer you to others who will benefit from your business. Your numbers need to include the dollars, what you are spending and your income. Expenditure needs reviewing regularly. It would be best if you also recognised the time you spend in your Biz so when you are creating your biz plan you value the work you do behind the scenes. An example of this is building opt-ins that are for one to many instead of one on one sessions. They do have a place, but they cannot be free; there needs to be an exchange of energy, the minimum of a recommendation from your client is advised.
